Members in Oxford diocese support a variety of food banks. Many of those have asked Mothers' Union for recipe cards to give out to their customers.
Members have produced laminated A4 recipe cards that help people create dishes with the food that they can receive at the food banks.
All recipes are economical and nutritional and the recipe cards have been very well received. Members in Caversham hve also started to collect the food items needed for the recipes, so these can come as a package with the recipe card. So far Mothers' Union has produced around 5000 recipe sheets and all have the Mothers' Union logo on them.
